Re: C&TS - D&S = Finally!

My son is high-functioning autistic (he goes to a charter school for gifted and talented kids), and also ADHD. He sometimes has sensory problems, and needs some quiet time and doesn't really like the outdoors, so I was thinking coach and gon when we hit the "good parts". He doesn't like tunnels, so we'll need to be "indoors" for those.

Can I still leave from Antonito and then bus back? I live on the Colorado side...

I doubt the chase thing will work, we're thinking of perhaps the Gator Farm, or possibly Mesa Verde. It depends, I'd love to see the Fort Garland Museum, though...

We are going to be doing this on a budget, so it wouldn't matter if we left Denver early and rode a later train. We're also probably going to be doing some camping rather than motels.

Zip-line? I like the idea, and my son has done a zip-line before, but...

My son does want to do the round-trip on the D&S, he doesn't really want to ride the bus.
