I was looking at a map made by the late Ron Harr showing the SVRy in the Whitney area. On this map is a double ended siding RR west of Whitney just past MP 44 before the grade leaves the Whitney valley and starts climbing the mtn. towards Tipton. The only SVRy siding I can find mention of between Whitney and Austin is the Carroll siding further up the hill between MP 47 and MP 48. Anybody know anything about this lower siding? The map shows a short spur leaving this siding and heading further up the Burnt river along the bottom of the valley, perhaps accessing the other spurs to the west that fanned into the mountains. BRIAN

P.S. There was never a siding at White Pine, right, just the wye???
