In 1971, the current culvert and fill over Wolf Creek was not yet finished, and one was still driving across the old bridge.

Back in the early 1980's, before the paranoia of the present day former Lobo Lodge owners went into effect, one could still drive the old road from the Forest Service Road that goes up to the track a Dalton, down to the old bridge. It seems to me the bridge had its deck removed to keep adventurous Jeep owners like me under control.
