its a good idea and i tried it, the nearest library was somewhere in the states, i problem is , I live in Australia.... i have borrowed cumbres and toltec items form my state library, but according to OCLC, theres not a copy of the Polley books anywhere in oz.
if you make suggestion about getting a book, they often do it, in future i should check whats been released and ask them to get a copy, still, there nothing really as good as having your own for quick reference.

which has the wayback machine, which saves websites , which means that when they disappear a copy is cached on the archive, you can find some of Bill Pratts old uintah website there.
theres a huge number of items, including old railroad books all out of copyright, i found this old item in a copy of transportation
