Glad you were able to purchase the second book Dan! I was going to mention that when I got my books I would look through the book and see if it was what you needed. Now that your getting it, it will be of no use for me to do so. I would recommend though that you take a look at the National Archives in Maryland for the ICC Evaluation Maps of 1918 for the Uintah, it will have all the yards, sidings, railroad structures (water towers, stock chutes, depots, etc.), and the grades for the tracks along with curvature as well I believe. The kicker is they won't print them for you, someone has to be there to request printing in person... I need to get out there sometime and get some maps as well.
We have witnessed valley
and plain and crest,
Canon and pass we've scanned;
We have seen the best
of the glorious West,
by the trail of the Rio Grande
