I see on your post that you joined us only three years ago, Wayne -
So you missed out on the many years of 'calm discussions' as to whether the K-36's and K-37's ever wore dark olive green (D&RGW Moffat Green) boiler jackets, finally settled just a couple of years ago by Mike Spera of the CRRM. Now you are up to speed, and have a better insight as to why some of those who post here regularly can't resist explicitly pointing out any and all locomotives not painted entirely in boring black. Even my fellow Curmudgeon John West has contributed to the harassment - if you can endure yet another link see his post at [
ngdiscussion.net].

p.s. You also missed out on the somewhat less calm discussions that peaked circa 2004-2007 concerning the Georgianatown Loop-de-Loop. An NGDF search for 'Ashby Behrens Bell Railstar' / 'All Dates' got hits to posts on four different threads, three of them quite long. My own synopsis of the situation at [
ngdiscussion.net] is somewhat shorter, but SFAIK holds the record for number of updates of a single post - 130 times as of today.
