At the C&TS we acknowledge each of the donations to the #168 fund with a certificate with a drawing of the locomotive(suitable for framing) signed and dated for the date the donation was made as well as a letter of thanks that includes the tax exempt information necessary for your IRS deduction. We do collect e-mail info so we can send progress reports when we start the actual "nuts & bolts" work. At this point we have raised $68,769.73 of the $650,000 we estimate it will require to return it to service.
We appreciate the interest so many have in seeing this 1883 Rio Grande passenger engine return to Cumbres pass under her own power.
