It's great to hear about these trips back in the sexties, my mind boggles at the logistics of organising a 4 DAY tour in the pen and paper age, for you youngsters (only 61 but I remember), that is when all letters had to be written, stamped and posted, letters back and forth to the railway, to arrange accommodation, to arrange catering, to the participating clubs/groups, a truly great effort in the day.
Keep it up, and Russo, if you need to 'bank' excuses, another can be because Wayne wants to see these mouldy old pictures, lots of mouldy old pictures, even if that pesky kid keeps getting in the way! LOL
