Hi, Greg -

The Alamosa Kiwanis Club sponsored a three-day excursion to Silverton & return every year during the peak of fall colors from the mid-fifties through the mid-sixties. I rode the last one on Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 1966, so I presume the next-to-last Kolor Karavan would have run October 1 - 3, 1965.
