Upon further review of the cropped Dorman photo; look at the gang planks location/ position on the two cars right behind the loading operator. The second car in the rear has the plank positioned so that it is not even close enough for the operator to use the filler pipe as a hand rail...and from experience you can confirm that it is not a good idea to be on top of these tanks
...having the tank cars coupled in two car sets is interesting as well... me thinks this is a slippery slope you have embarked on my friend....
Good thing for Gramps they didn't have OSHA back in the day....
