Mike what you say is more or less correct. From 1947 to 1962 the reduction in old equipment on site was somewhat gradual, so one would need to try to find photo dates to be sure when various pieces went away. All equipment with the exception of #101 was retired by 1949 in terms of ICC reporting. Both cabooses 5 and 6 remained on site for a long time. #5 was sold at some point to M.F. Chandler who was SVRy's auditor to use as a cabin. #6 is shown at some point also sitting in S. Baker minus trucks. Coach 20 had been used as a MOW building or perhaps housing at S Wye in later years of operation. It went off site at some point to become 2 farm sheds. I don't have a year on this nor what year it was recovered and moved to Western Ore. SVRy retained a flat car for MOW use til final shut down in 1961 though it was officially retired in 1947. As you say the idler flat, tank car and OLC 7 which all went to BHCentral were there till the end. Oregon lumber company #100 Heisler was not scrapped till 1954. Refer Car 3 ended up as a shed, as did numerous box and stock cars. One of the old baggage and mail cars that had been in MOW service survived well into the late 60's along with another refer car which were moved to Boulder Gorge as a residence. They were eventually destroyed by the USFS. There are still a few box and stock car bodies around the area.
