No not quite the location. Find the intersection of David Eccles Rd. and Colorado Street and you will be closer. Colorado Street you will notice crosses the river. The bridge is the former SVRy bridge and would be on the track swinging left in the photo I shared. David Eccles Rd. is basically the old SVRy ROW up to that area. Obviously the curve from the alignment of David Eccles Rd, to the alignment of Colorado St. crossing the bridge was gradual. Prior to some track changes after the mainline was abandoned, that was a bridge used further up the line. There was a track running in the same general direction but crossing the river on a pile trestle on something like a 45 deg angle to the river before the present steel rr/now street bridge was installed. Here are the coordinates for the SVRy company stores warehouse which is still standing: 44deg. 45'30"N by 117deg. 49'30"W. The SVRy 3 stall engine house that was built in 1940 to house 250 and 251 is nearby at 44deg. 45'29.13" by 117deg. 49' 43.36".
It is sad that the office building didn't survive. It caught fire in the early 1970's and I assume demolished as a result. Keeping this tied to Martin's original post on Eng 101, the 3rd (west) stall of the engine house became the home of the 101. The other two stalls became the truck shop for SVRy.
