Yes, alas and alas, it is pretty well impossible to eliminate every instance of the modern world with today's steam trains, and not only is a Californian Shay pulling D&RG equipment which likely never happened "back then" there is also the problem of having GB&L or Georgetown Loop on the tenders! We just do the bestest we can...!
