Man I must have lucked out. I have a genuine Estate caboose stove and when it gets cold I first start a wood fire in it and then throw in a few lumps of coal I scavenged on the ground during a work session. Joanie doesn't mind the smell, but if I put 3 lumps in the stove we have to open a window as the room gets too hot! Other than that the smell is pure heaven.
