Here is another one that shows what appears to be a rear platform covered with snow.
This was the "rescue train" for the daily passenger train that was stuck below Larch for three days in 1916. The motive power for this train, which was hastily made up at Austin, consisted of a Sumpter Valley Mogul, W.H.Eccles Heisler #3, Oregon Lumber Co. Heisler #104, and a Baker White Pine Lumber Co. Climax. Heisler #3 is the same one we are now running.
