Thanks for the locations! I can go along with most of those, but I do have a couple of lingering doubts...

I wanted it to be 51A when I was first researching the locations of these slides, but convinced myself it wasn't. Compare photo 51 to this contemporary photo of bridge 51A and you'll see what I mean:

The bridge in photos 51-53 looks taller than bridge 51A, and counting bents, the bridge in photo 53 has 10 while bridge 51A has only 8. Photo 53 also shows a wall of granite at the south end of the bridge, but bridge 51A doesn't appear to have that - just a hillside with grass and trees. See also the aerial view of bridge 51A today:

I tried to make photo 54 fit Trout Lake tank, too, but it just doesn't add up. There's a lot of tall green leafy shrubbery growing around the base of the tank in photo 54, but I'm not seeing that in photos 46 and 47 of Trout Lake tank - just low grasses there. Also, didn't Trout Lake have its gauge to the left of the spout (facing the tank) rather than to the right as on the tank in photo 54? Compare this photo of the east side of Trout Lake tank from August 1951 to photo 54 (taken June 1951):

The horizontal members that connect the ladders to the tanks and the hard water stains on the tank bodies don't match, either.
