I think the rule depends upon which engines are involved. Since K-27 463 is lighter it may be that two can cross. I have seen pics of two engines crossing together, but they were not both K36 or K37. One was a K-28 and the other either a K-36 or K-37. Also I think the spread has to be so that both engines are not on the same span(Section) at the same time. Others may be better versed on this.
