A fairly accurate 50-year Anniversary re-creation from Antonito to Chama of the last D&RGW westbound revenue freight over Cumbres Pass - 18 boxcars of oilfield supplies and two flatcars loaded with wallboard - would be possible on August 28, 2018, IF 18 boxcars are operational and a framework can be built on each of two operational flats over which light-colored tarps could be stretched to represent the loads of wallboard and IF #484 is operational and #488 or #489 could be renumbered as #483. On August 29, 2018, a 50-year Anniversary re-creation from Chama to Antonito of the last D&RGW eastbound revenue freight over Cumbres Pass would require only 14 operational boxcars, a boxcar and a flatcar with a dozer on board to be picked up at Toltec Siding and would also require that #484 be operational. Unfortunately, a fairly accurate re-creation would also require an operational K-37 renumbered as #498, but a
commemorative photo freight using two k-36's might be possible. (See second and third photos on [
