Well, recreations are always a bit of a challenge. A number of shots from the good old days are no longer possible because the darn brush and trees keep growing. But that also creates new opportunities. But in a way the charter will have one big advantage, the DRGW ran at times that suited operational needs, the charter will be able to control the schedule to get the best lighting. One of the ops I am looking forward to is getting something similar to the first picture but with morning light it will be reversed with the engine in the foreground and the caboose up by the switch in the background. And so on. The cabins at Los Pinos will be a challenge but there are many angles there that should provide an opportunity to crop out the buildings. The other attraction will be a hard working westbound. After we pull all those cars to Osier the one engine will have a good size train to haul back to Cumbres. The one engine westbound will not be particularly prototypical of the last 20 years of operation, but offsetting that will be good slog up the hill with a big train.
