As to the Knott's Berry Farm equipment, the former San Juan cars, Chama, Durango, 325, 326 and 310, as well as C-19 No. 340 were loaded on standard gauge flats in Alamosa for the trip to California. Coach 310 and C-19 340 were later shipments.

The equipment loaded at Montrose was C-19 No. 41, the private car B-20, caboose 0402 and Goose 3 off the Rio Grande Southern, taken to Montrose on the Ouray branch. Again, these weren't all shipped at once. 41 went first, followed by the others when the line quit running. Goose 3 was used in the scrapping in 1952 then went to Knott's.
