Here are some suggestions:

The Dorman collection suggests 375 hung out around Durango since at least the late 1930s. She still had a plow in fall 1946 without foot boards or tender backup light. This goes along with a few Klinger photos I bought. The Vollrath print I have from August 1947 is almost like the Dorman one taken a month earlier with the switching pilot RD106-070.

So, 47-49 as a switcher?

It looks like the old main rods survived the late 30s derailment near Durango.

I am curious about how the C-21/C-25 tenders would have been upgraded and trucks for a model, but that would be a different thread.
