I can never recall the status of 473, 476 and 478 - sorry about that.

Out of 22 ex-D&RGW 2-8-2s, 12 or 13 are operational (or at least in an operating rotation even if it is undergoing normal repairs at the moment).
That is 59% operating!!

With 493, that would mean that up to 14 may be operational. That's almost 64%. Not a bad record.
