I'm surprised no-one has yet mentioned the Driving Creek Railway here in New Zealand given that I recently posted about the passing of it's creator. [ngdiscussion.net]

The 15 inch gauge line in places is as steep as the Uintah's Baxter Pass was, features a turnback loop, a spiral loop, multiple switch-backs with tail tracks on stub-end Trestles, several tunnels and the Worlds only Double-decked railway Bridge and is also used for moving freight(clay and fuelwood for the Potteries). The home-designed and built articulated Railcars are also an engineering treat, and all built by a Potter/Railfan.

another longer video of the whole line if you don't mind am-cam point it here, there and everywhere type of camera work.
