M&PP #4 will operate several time in 2016. The railway will celebrate it's 125 year of operation on June 30th. Public steam operations are planned for May 25th, June 30th, August 25th, September 8th and October 6th. Check the Manitou & Pikes Peak website for more information. On June 30th the locomotive will operate five trips from the depot on short 1/4 mile trips with US Mail cancelled aboard each trip by the US Postal Service with a special cancellation. There is also plans in the works for a special night steam photo shoot following steam operations on August 25th. Stay tuned.................
