I truly do not believe that the #15 ever went to Camino. I owned a small ranch there, not far from the CC&N engine house, until around 1976. I would have seen the locomotive at the railroad during a trip there.
My suggestion is that you contact Lindsey Ashby, of the Georgetown Loop Railroad - where the #15 is located today (if it is back from the CRRM).
Lindsey would certainly know the prevenance of the locomotive.
