89 was also used on the conversion to Standard Gauge on the Monarch Branch. We have a few shots of it on work trains in our "Rio Grande's Third Division", which has some Marshall Pass(including Gunnison tank) and Salida to Monarch. Here is a link if anyone likes video of old films!!!

PS I believe 483 was also used in some of the dismantling on the Gunnison to Salida, but 489 was the last one used.
