I have to agree with Phillip, the photography of John Krause was featured in two early narrow gauge books that left a lasting impression.

Twilight On The Narrow Gauge, Frederick Kramer from Quadrant Press
Colorado Memories of the Narrow Gauge Circle, Krauss and Grenard from Carstens.
Norwoods Rio Grande Narrow Gauge volumes also had Krause's work.

One of his best. #480 coming through Parlins.
