Re: D&RGW Durango-Silverton train desination

Hello, it may be a little late to write onto this discussion... but thought I would add my input. Our passenger trains, the second and third of the day still carry with them boxcars, each with the use of hauling backpacks to Needleton and Elk Park. Our timetables still say mixed at last check. Also... we still haul freight for Mild to Wild Rafting and Mountain Waters rafting to Needleton and back from Tacoma Power Plant. We still call this freight and will occasionally add extra boxcars to accommodate the load. Along with the freight for Tacoma and Tall Timber Resort, we still are fairly busy with hauling loads that are not passengers.
