Looked up the information:

SN #3 weight:72,000 lbs
tractive effort: 18,819 lbs
factor of adhesion : 3.34

SG&N #34 Weight: 88,000 lbs
Tractive effort 18,800 Lbs
Factor of Adhesion: 3.73

So both locomotives would be considered C-19's and the 34 would act like it was magnetically attached to the track.
