thanks i measured old doors in various parts of Colrado and found that many were indeed a bit taller than what we normally have now. Smaller miner houses were lower, around 6 ft 4-8 inches but stores were taller, up to 10 ft, but many were around 8, front doors, office doors mine doors many were around 7. A good friend and mentor in NZ who is one of the best modellers i know advised smaller for houses and bigger for commerical
