Second set of photos from Antonito shows work on a tank car, Russ Hanskom is straightning a bent drop bottom gon chain wind up rod. (Look how thick that steel is, Russ can figure out a solution to almost anything!) BOTH composite trucks frames are now finished with only needing to purchase wheels and trucks to put under the 470 car getting close to the finish line. (Please consider donating to help the Friends raise money to buy the 24 wheels and 12 axles needed to complete the 6 trucks we are building.) Here's how.

Friends donation page, (just ask for your donation to go to the wheel and axle fund)

Bill Pratt just can't enough drop bottom gons, because his team is tearing into ANOTHER drop bottom, and OH, there is much deeper problems than first thought, (a VERY COMMON problem....).
