Wow! What a great video. So may indulge in an operational question? I have heard that std. protocol on D&S is to use straight air which has been adapted to the cars such that they still have automatic air operational. With a train this long I'd wonder if the straight air would cause some unpleasant slack action with the cars near the head end setting up sooner. This could result in the back portion of the train having slack running in then with a pretty big jolt and then stretching back out as the rear brakes set up. So I guess my question is if they in fact use straight air with a train this long and if so how is the ride?
