Hi,

As for the Valley Line, the CRA about Narrow Gauge News is what I'm trying to recall (I can not find my copy). I believe the narrow gauge portion was removed in 1954-5 along with the Gunnison line.

I do recall an anecdote by a fellow owning a store in Hooper. He asked what was going on when the NG scrapping train came through. When told, he said something along the lines of I'm waiting for a car load of Baldwin coal.
