Doug mentioned in another thread that he had wished he would have known more about the railroads around Jerome when he traveled through the area at a young age. Below is a page that I have posted before but thought I would mention it again if anyone is interested. It provides a tour along the drivable NG United Verde route. I have also included a map of the line at the second link. I should plan another tour of the grade as it has been a few years since I last visited. It would have been a sight to see all of the trestles along the line before so many of them were filled in.
