I worked briefly on the Arizona Central. It might have well been NG. The awnings on the engines just barely cleared the vertical sandstone cliffs and the curves were tight. There is one place where there is a double loop the top of which goes around a sandstone capped hill known as "Mexican Hat". Government Canyon bridge is quite a deal also. At that time we also used the 6 stall roundhouse that had housed the 0-6-6-0s of the mining days. It still exists but the RR doesn't use it anymore. JP
