Dan, if you can make sense out of the Sumpter Valley's numbering system you win the prize, no one else ever has. The five Mikados are the only thing that are in any kind of order, that is after the ALCO's were renumbered.

So far as the "Candalaria" goes, SVRy did purchase locomotive's for OLC under their own accounts, so who knows? The 103 served as a "bull cook" engine for OLC, hauling supplies to the camps, and was still around at Bates in 1936, though out of service.
