One of the neat things about Roger and Barbara's place is it is one of the two hotels used by DRGW crews back in the day. And having stayed there back in the day, the upstairs retains the old fashioned ambience while being clean, well cared for, and comfortable. The downstairs is a bit fancier these days. In the old days "reception" was a chalk board on the front porch showing who was in what room (for the crew caller) and keys on a hook for the empty rooms. To check in you simply wrote your name in the box and took a key. Today you have real people to check you in.
