Re: Current Antonito water tank

I know one of our video, perhaps "Rio Grande Steam in the 1960's" has a video(old 16mm) passing the La Jara tank headed west. In fact now I remember it was the first run of 492 after it had the new smokebox installed after the collision at the Rock. Nice shot of the train passing the depot. Maybe it is the "Last Steam Freights 1968" that has a shot by Ernie Robarts passing the La Jara tank. I recall one scene or still someone had of them taking water at La Jara cause they did not like the water in Antionio. May have been the last train in 1968, I don't recall off hand. Anyway lots of shots of La Jara over the years, cause it was one of the only "features" between Alamosa and Antonito.
