Here is a example of railroad archaeology. Ex-New Zealand Railway's K-88 class #92 on the Plains Heritage Railway. This loco was one of several of the same class that were removed from former NZR embankments and after extensive repairs returned to service. This loco has had a new boiler manufactured and installed after return to service. This is a Rogers 2-4-0 and 42 inch gauge.
