Every steam railroad seems to own some sort of General Electric-built critter to use as a shop switcher. The C&TS has #19, not-so-affectionately known as the "Pineapple". Cass has #77, known as "Kermit" (as in "it's not easy being green"). Here we see Kermit has dragged Shay #4 out from her snowy storage spot and is running around to pull #4 up to the shop.
Here #77 is pulling #4 back to the shop past the former Chesapeake & Ohio RR water tank in Cass. #77 was built in 1948 for the Point Comfort & Northern in southeast Texas. It was sold to ALCOA Aluminum, then to a couple of other industrial outfits before it wandered into Wonderful West Virginia.
