Forgot to add the DMU's come as three unit sets and end units can be dropped. Also they were meter gauge in Portugal, that makes the cars having three different gauges. Also the configuration of the interiors were rebuild to part of the units were First Class with one and two seating with tables. the center sections were two and two seating. Completely stripped down and rebuilt. The owner said that he kept the engines since they were Volvo, good shape and had been installed in the 1980's by the Portuguese.
