Another bad idea is putting pennies or other coins on the tracks. I have heard stories of the wheels hitting the edges and sending them like they were fired from a gun and hitting someone. Folks do this all the time on steam excursions it seems....the locals!!!
Didn't mean to hijack your thread Sam, but this came to mind.

PS I remember meeting you at Osier. Am capturing in the editing computer footage from the ride that day as I type this on the internet computer.
