In light of the need for continuous air, as mentioned by Earl in the previous post, maybe it would be sensible to set a commercial gas/diesel air compressor on the OU. It wouldn't be "prototype," but it would save wear and tear on the locomotive's steam compressor. Does the C&TS have one, or could one be rented somewhere for this special duty?
