Last time Jordan OU was used was in early Nov, 1983. We used 19 to pull it. We (Russ Fischer, Gary Getman, Max Pacheco and yours truly) camped in 0503 for 2 nights. If I remember, OU worked great. We also used it in 1982 when Kyle's Kink got built at the stateline.
If any operating dept folks are tuned in (Yo - this means you, Gerald!) Take lots of valve oil and cup oil for the air pump. Run the hydostatic at about 10 drops/min and refill the air cups every 3-4 hours. The OU eats lots of air, the pump runs constantly. We fried 489's pump when we used it with the Jordan in 1981 because we didn't have enough cup oil!
