John West - aka The Troll JéBêWèX - was initially a bit skeptical of the "Springtime" excursion with green-jacketed #489 (a 60th-Anniversary commemoration - NOT a re-creation - of the Rocky Club's 1950 excursion on the D&RGW for which #489 was dolled up in Moffat Green), but nonetheless offered his support and eventually became an enthusiastic participant in the adventure.
