Well I stand corrected, apparently the down wire has become an issue killing the wildlife in the last few years. Since that is the case, it IS a good thing it is being removed as it no longer serves the purpose it was put there for. If the bighorn sheep are getting entangled in the wires, pulling them is certainly a worthwhile effort so kudos to the guys doing the work.

I just found it odd that the wire has been on the ground for over a half century is just now causing problems. My bad.
