Carson City

I can't say much about Carson City hotels, but in general be aware that in the Reno and Sparks area rates tend to be dirt cheap during the week and much higher on weekends. There are exceptions like during events such as Hot August Nights and such. That may or may not be true in Carson. About all I can tell you about Carson is the Hampton Inn is a typical Hampton if that tickles your fancy, and just south and across the street is a really good upscale steak house (whose name escapes me).
