"Seen in Eureka, Colorado in the first version. Rebuilt by the Sunnyside with a different body and engine with the current body and 1915 Cadillac engine and car body. The frame and undercarriage shown here is the same as presently on the car. This photo just surfaced. And this contraption still operates quite nicely".

"... And this contraption still operates quite nicely."
As it should ! Why is is people think that just because something is old, it therefor is inferior or just a worn out POS ? Old machinery tended to be overbuilt for being solid chunks of iron, allowing many rebuilds. There is no reason a pre-1970 car cannot run forever if properly maintained. Same goes for railroad equipment or hybrids of the two !
