Simpson and Stimpson are 2 different companies.

Stimpson operates a substantial operation about 15 miles to my west out of "Seghers" Oregon. In fact it's still served by what is left of the old Red electric west side loop out of Hillsboro.

I even understand a couple of my ex-inlaws work for them. They have been living off of Tillamook burn reforestation contracts since the 80's.

I was told that in the 90's the three mills at this location was producing 1m board feet of product per day.
