The CT Antique Machinery Association has a nice little museum. Their collections are strongest in farm tractors and stationary steam, but their railroad exhibits are still noteworthy and include Argent Lumber 2-8-0 #4 (also owned by Dr May) which used to be at Edaville, and Tionesta Valley caboose #11 among other rolling stock.
Here's their page on 2-4-2 #5:

They report that they actually purchased #5 from Dr May in 2010.
The town of Kent, CT is up in the northwest corner of the state, right on the NY line. It's a very pretty area, and a lot of wealthy NYers have second homes there. The Appalachian Trail also passes nearby.
